The 62nd Independence Day of Pakistan

Yes, I belong to, and live in, Pakistan.

I do believe that this is a bit off topic for my blog, but it is a blog nevertheless.

My country is, as of today, 61 years old. It has lived through good times and bad times. And we are experiencing testing times now. But if we stand together, there is no way we will not shine.

Pakistan was made from a pool of blood and sacrifice, rather like life from a deep airless, waterless, nether. It was made for a purpose. And as long as there exists a will to define that purpose for which our great leader Quaid-e-Azam worked his life off, we are going nowhere.

For all Pakistanis (and others) reading this blog, I wish you all a very Happy 62nd Independence Day. For Pakistan!

P.S. Yes, this is the same country from which you think all terrorists hail – a massive misconception: even a thousand (which it is not) terrorists in 160 million comes to less than 0.000007%. How is that for statistics?
